A Delicate Balance
Where do I begin? I’m dangerously close to 29 years old and I’m producing my first web series. On top of all of that madness, I’m still enrolled as a full-time student, work as a swimming instructor and maintain a balance within my family at home. How do I do it? Tons of caffeine and a lot of self-care. Most mornings are spent rushing out the door, putting on makeup as I drive to class. Speeding without spilling your coffee is a life skill. All in all, it’s been great fun. This is my first time producing something that will outlive my school days and I’m really excited about it. I find producing and the chaos of pre-production challenging and fun, although I’m pretty sure it’s given me a few (new) gray hairs. Throughout my less than 30 years, I’ve worn a lot of hats.
